# What supervision is in place for students?
Our team includes dedicated pastoral staff who ensure student well-being and provide support whenever needed. Staff are on hand at all times, including during academic sessions, excursions, and overnight. Students are allowed a little free time in the local area, to go and buy lunch or snacks for example, our staff in touch we them at all times using our on-course communications app Discord. Students are given clear instructions on where they are allowed to go, they must always stay in groups of 3+, and must be back at a meeting point at a set time. Students are not allowed to use any forms of public transport on their own. Students are expected to adhere to the **[Code of Conduct](https://env-immerseeducation-stagingmain.kinsta.cloud/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Participant-Code-of-Conduct-2025.pdf)** at all times whether on or off campus.
