How secure is the campus?

University of Toronto colleges are very secure, and both cities are safe, friendly places for visitors, accustomed to welcoming a young student body.

Public entrances to the colleges are monitored by college staff 24/7 and secured for key access only at night. There is CCTV in many of the public areas on-site and public visiting hours are restricted.
The accommodation is very secure and private. Participants are provided with keys and are encouraged to lock their bedroom doors during the day. Housekeeping staff will access bedrooms during the day to replace towels, etc.
If participants have valuables that they would like us to store securely for them, we would be happy to keep this safe in the College Manager’s office.
