Do participants have free time?

Yes, there is plenty of free time available for students to explore the local area with their friends.

Our programmes are designed to give an insight into university life - so there will be plenty of opportunities to sign out of college in small groups of two or three, and explore the historic city of Toronto. Each day you will have a two-hour lunch break to discover many cafes, eateries, and picnic spots in Toronto.
In addition, there are some points in the programme specifically scheduled to provide free time so that you can study privately, visit attractions, relax with friends or practise the undergraduate favourite pastime – an afternoon nap.
If you wish to schedule an absence from Immerse, for example, to visit friends or family outside of the programme, please let us know in advance.

Students may not sign out of college in the evening, and overnight accommodation is supervised by our residential pastoral team of Mentors.
